You may not need a comms team.
You may just need the right guy.

I'm a senior communications leader for fintech, fraud prevention, identity, cybersecurity, and AI companies. When the story is complicated and the stakes are high, I bring executive-level judgment without asking you to build a function around me.

I lead the work. I do the work.

My experience also spans payments, enterprise technology, automotive, and the public sector.

No pitch. I'll tell you whether I'm the right fit.

What I do

Senior enough to lead it. Hands-on enough to do it.

Strategy when you need strategy. Writing when something needs writing. Leadership when the work needs a leader.

Corporate & Executive Communications

Executive counsel, messaging, ghostwriting, presentations, internal communications, and change.

Media & Reputation

Media strategy, PR, issues and crisis communications, launches, and reputation-shaping narratives.

Content & Thought Leadership

Research platforms, reports, executive content, and campaigns that turn expertise into authority.

Brand & Narrative

Positioning, messaging architecture, category stories, and the connective tissue that keeps the company saying the same thing.

BioCatch

The Dark Economy

Fraud was being discussed as a series of isolated attacks. I created the narrative that reframed it as an interconnected criminal economy of scams, mule networks, and money laundering, then led the rollout across research, executive thought leadership, and media.

Proof of durability

The narrative has continued to grow. BioCatch's 2025 Dark Economy Survey included 800 fraud, AML, risk, and compliance leaders across 17 countries on five continents.

Human-centered storytelling · BioCatch

The Human Side of Fraud

I led the evolution of BioCatch's human-first fraud storytelling, including the True Love romance-scam campaign, connecting human stakes to expert analysis, media, executive visibility, demand generation, and the technology behind the story.

M.Talks

I conceived, developed, managed, and hosted a monthly live-video program connecting leaders and subject-matter experts with employees across the organization, then built the communications process around it.

Ways to work together

The scope should fit the problem, not the other way around.

Fractional Communications Leadership

Senior communications direction and hands-on execution without building a full department.

Narrative & Positioning Projects

A sharper company story, category narrative, messaging architecture, or flagship research platform.

Executive & Thought Leadership

Executive positioning, ghostwriting, speeches, articles, research, and ideas worth putting a leader's name on.

Interim & Special Situations

Leadership gaps, launches, reputation issues or important work that needs experienced attention now.

Good fit

This works well if:

  • You're a fintech, fraud prevention, identity, cybersecurity, or AI company with a complicated story to tell.
  • You need senior communications judgment, but not a full department.
  • You want someone who will write the thing, not just direct someone else to do it.

Not a fit: If you're looking for cookie-cutter content production or a big, multi-layered agency team, I'm probably not your guy. I'm one senior person who can do the work, and that's the point.
